Whither JDK8?

Stephen Colebourne posts on the future of JDK8 based on current JEPs. Among the possiblities, I'm looking forward to:

• Getting the PID of the current process
• Multi-style collections
• Reflection for parameter names
• Significant help for annotation writers (the compiler model stinks for usability)
